Just some randome question for Rayman 2. But why does it freeze up when you try to change the resolution to high in the game?

You need some kind of expansion pak, I think.

What ARE you talking about? You need no expansion pack for the game on the computer. :?

I don't know. Try it again since I never had that problem. Otherwise, check for some patch (Don't know whether or not there are any) or else I guess just keep it down...

The only known patch that I know of is the CD-ROM patch for windows XP.

When I ran Rayman 2 on my other PC that has a 64MB intel onboard graphics card, I raised the resolution and the game froze. And I couldn't open it again. Though I run the game on here now. Which I have not touched the resolution setting on here. This PC has a 128MB NVIDIA graphics card.

It must be related to the drivers of your graphics card.

I am guessing newer graphics drivers don't count because it is an older game? Oh well. At least it works with my Graphics card on the setting the game is on. :D

As long as you can play Rayman 2, this is not a big problem ^^

The thing about console is that you don't have to deal with graphics drivers and that stuff.

You are right, because consoles are quite simple ^^

Thing about the consoles is:

1.) The N64, graphics is lower quality then the PC version. And the audio quility is lower then the PC version.

2.) The one on the PS1 has cutouts and lower quaility on Graphics and audio so it could fit on the disk.

3.) So far this is all I know but the PC version is still better.

I think the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2: The Great Escape was the best. A solid 60 frames per second and quenched Dreamcast owner's thirst for a good platformer. I'm a console gamer.

I used to be a console gamer... well I sort of am still, but I actually prefer the computer for gamming if I have the right hardware for some games.

Even if computers provide a better quality for games, playing on a console is quite nicer.

I prefer using a console because a) they are easier controls, IMO b) you play in front of a big screen c) if you get angered, the controller is always there
