I shall partake in this and not be a complete RPC noob anymore. I am fine with pretty much any date.

I love how this place can post so much but still retain standards.

It's a very rare combination, and that's why I was so confused by this place when I first joined.

I'm new here, so please understand that I have to ask something. If this competition is today, 21th June, then where should we post? In this topic or somewhere else? And another question, is the meaning of this competition to post as much posts as possible or to post a post that is as long as possible? Please help me, I don't get exactly...

The competition isn't today, we've ruled it out due to not enough members being available. The point of Record Day is to get as many posts as possible (within reasonable limits, of course). Any post you make in any of the forums count, but I'd stick to Off-topic and some of the threads here, personally.

Imagine if you signed up to here on Records Day. You'd be terrified.

Yes, i'm sure I was invited over simply for that Record Day. I think I made about 45 posts that day which is clearly not 3.3k but no bad for someone who had no clue what was going on.

Well, from measly double digits to glorious quad digits, very inspiring progression, indeed.

If you're devoted to RD then quad digits is fairly easy to be honest, it's getting an upgraded 4th digit that gets to people.

Indeed, I've yet to break past the 2k mark, but I've passed 1k both times I've been here for RD.

I can hit 2k no problem, although last year I remember struggling to get up to 3k only missing out by a couple hundred posts.

Huh, seems the best I've managed is 565.

Things will be different when I rule the world this year!

Heh, I've no doubt either, my first Record Day, I didn't actually make any changes to my schedule, yet I cleared 1k easy. I think with your WPM, you might be able to make some considerable leaps in.

Hah thanks man. It'd be pretty cool to hit 1.5k. Lets see what happens, I'm looking forward to it I just hope that I get a decent amount of time online!

I think I got about 1200-1500 last time, right? Seems reasonable I'd be able to repeat that if I actually get a chance to participate (pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease!)
