I always liked the Shock Rocket, personally. It's so unique in comparison to the rest of the powers, and I think it controls well too. Plus, its theme/sting sounds the best IMO.

It’s hard to decide, honestly!
I’d say Vortex and Heavy Metal for the looks, Lockjaw and Shock Rocket for the gameplay mechanics, and Throttle Copter for the most faithfulness to Rayman’s old power-ups (along Heavy Metal if you consider the similarities with the fist power-ups).

My favorite is Lockjaw. He looks wondeful and I just like to play for him.

Lockjaw. I love the electric attack. And the swinging mechanic was one of my favorites to do no matter how situational it is.

The Lockjaw is such a brutal concept and for what? Like seriously not to sound like "who put this in a kids show XD" but the idea of chained bear traps that electrocute folk is something you'd see more in like Fallout and such.

Also have you guys seen the concept art for the powers? He looks like he wants to fight God.

Maybe Rayman is actually evil and the Hoodlums were the good guys all along.

Remember that the Hoodlums created the Lockjaw in the first place though!

You know the hand creatures are called Mawpaws but you don't know the power up is called the Throttle Copter? Anyway, it only makes him look like Mickey when he first dons the helmet, not while he's actually using it!

I disagree, it's not fun if the power-up only lasts 8 seconds. The super helicopter power in both R1 and R2 are much better than the throttle copter.

Having the magic potion and using the super helicopter for certain points in R1? Fun!
Having the power of flight for the entirety of Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava? Fun!
But having a throttle copter for ONLY 3 seconds? Not fun.

Yeah, totally agree with that. "L'épicoptère" isn't very epic when it only lasts three seconds

It’s enough to fuffil it’s use

The throttle copter honestly had a lot more potential. Too bad they decided to nerf this 3-second powerup (which is why there's like 17 cans in that area of TOTL) which barely has any usage scoring wise. I guess they did the same thing with the HMF and the Lockjaw but at least they had much more usage than the throttle copter does.

I mean if TTC lasted longer it’d be too OP
