Making a banner is in most chases not just putting some text and images together, to form a fine looking banner...

If you want to create a banner, you should think about the font you use, the colors, the background, the images you want in, the text you want to write and this all has to do with the subject you have.

If you write about "being better then Neo and Xen", then you choose for an agressive font, and mostly of the time red and black colors. If you do not want to be violent, you have to play with colors and texts. Not to insult someone however has priority.

If you make a banner for a school, you've done things correctly Neo. Red colors.. bulldogs... You have nice images. But the text isn't really centered, or is just placed in the middle... You should have taken better care of that.

Think about this, and when you do this correctly and pick the prettiest pictures, nices colors and form the best banner together, you can create the ultimate image for someone.

For the font, I used Manistrika, I used the font color gold, font shadow maroon, and the second shadow would be gold as well, and I placed the text where I could fit it, and I was trying to do it like this one:

And, I used two images, both bulldogs. Of course, from that, you could probaly guess that the school colors are maroon (not really, too light) and gold, and that our mascot is a bulldog. ^^
