I wish that I could say the same thing about Redemption being 'flawless'. Those freaking basketballs!

Also no, absolutely not I do not want a sequel to Legends. I need a break from Ubiart, so maybe a few years perhaps and after we get a different kind of Rayman game or something idk.
That and those stupid no-hit achievements! I still get nightmares about them.
Oh, and let's not forget some other things like Pinpoint Precision (I want to forget this bonus exists ever since I did it in Demise :pfff: ) and a few questionable changes...

Same, a whole decade of the exact same games was too much for me, even with some of Legends' innovations... And I suspect we're not the only ones to feel in such a way considering both the French and English's polls results in the past six years.
I get some people want their "Rayman Myths" or whatever, but it's really not the priority right now IMO as we just kept eating the Origins formula from 2011 all the way to 2019 (or 2021 if you count Mini's updates and some other things) and a new 3D entry continuing Rayman 3 has been expected since 2003... TWENTY. YEARS. Rayman 4 has always been the community's biggest and most overused meme for a reason. :hap:
Origins... Jungle Run... Fiesta Run... Legends... Legends Beatbox... Legends "Next-gen"... Adventures... Legends Definitive Edition... Mini... Legends Stadia ("RIP Bozo" :noel:)... Incrediballs Dodge... Is it too much to ask to get a different style in a while like before even when we had hundreds of pointless ports? It's kind of as if a New Super Mario Bros. game came out almost every year, and there was no other type of Mario game in between... It will get stale eventually, no matter how great it is.
Give me something brand new or closer to the oldest Raymans, and then I wouldn't mind another UbiArt main entry. :)
...Regardless, they could give us both and (almost) everyone would be happy. :hehe:

No, I think you are not the only ones ;). Unfortunately, I see it very unlikely that Rayman 4 will be released anytime soon, but it definitely has to be a 3D game. I'm not going to get into the debate of whether the trilogy is better than the UbiArt games, in the end I guess every game has its pros... But I don't know, I miss that feeling of the old Rayman games.

Yeah I miss the feels from the first 3 games. I hope there will be at least another Rayman entry in 3D someday. :)

Oh dear, I forgot that Denise was even a thing! I only played one level and then quit when I realized the cheat codes wouldn’t work.

You know, I think I only recently realized that "Demise" is kinda the opposite of "Redemption", so the game mode name now makes more sense to me :oops2:

I think I would apply that concept generally to Rayman 1 itself

They seriously didnt need to make rayman brain games because R1 is a brain game in itself

You know, I think a Rayman game in the R1 style would be refreshing too. Kind of like what the R2 prototype in the PS1 version was like.

Yeah R1 style hasn’t been seen for 25 years!

Given how quite a few good things have happened to Rayman lately (like being included as DLC and the laserhawk anime), it's nice to know Rayman at least hasn't been forgotten. :)

Yeah the Rayman community is very pessimistic. It’d be nice if we appreciated what we’ve gotten in the previous years

Are we really at the point that just a few people not being 100% happy that all we got in 10 years were mobile games, Legends ports, mediocre merch/cross-overs, a Rabbids DLC and anime of a milked-dry franchise featuring a parody of Rayman smoking crack and eating on a furry woman's ASS is considered "very pessimistic"? And when the last classic 2D and 3D adventures were 20 years ago before those very same Rabbids came in? :hap:
Because then, I'll just choose to be "E X T R E M E L Y pessimistic" about both the franchise and the "optimistic" parts of the community if that's the case. :noelnoir:

Read what you just wrote a few times, then tell me if it made any sense

Already did so as I always check my text before posting. Why don't you detail what "doesn't make sense", then? I'm not English so who knows if I messed up. :hap:

Fair enough, I just didn't understood the assumption that "the Rayman community is very pessimistic" when it's just a minority (hi :hap:) that isn't being 100% positive about what we got in the past years (which still feel sort of empty compared to the 1995-2003 and 2011-2013 eras IMO).

Maybe my perspective is simply twisted because I just saw the big majority of the Twitter Rayman fans being absolutely content with everything recently (which is perfectly fine :) ) and attacking the 2-3 people they saw thinking differently (which isn't really fine :mefiant: ), but it seems -to me- that even on the RPC or other places like YouTube the vast portion of the community is happy and optimistic about how things are currently going.
Nothing personal, it's just that what didn't make sense to me was to generalize pessimism based on so little and when other communities have i n f i n i t e l y "worse" (hello Sonic fans :noel:  )... but maybe I just missed something somewhere. :?:
