Nice, thanks for that! :D
But why didn't nullDC run it? It's the only DC emulator that is actually able to run it ( Chankast loads it, but crashes when selecting New Game or something like that, and the rest of the emulators don't run it at all )! :P

Also, I'll be posting some backgrounds in 30 minutes.

EDIT -> Oh my god, two backgrounds took me an hour! o_O

The mountains on this picture are cut off, but if I will ever be able to open the sprite files, I'll give you guys a version of this picture with the complete mountains :P
They're cut off in the game to make the game more realistic, so the air doesn't scroll as fast as the mountains...

Both backgrounds can be looped horizontally, the second one can also be looped vertically.

Drolpiraat, are the backgrounds cut in 16x16 tiles? if so, I can help you reconstructing the images. A friend of mine developped a program called "GBA Graphics" that can easily manipulate 16x16 tiles or 8x8 tiles.
Plus, I'd be glad to help you since I need the backgrounds for my game engine

Sadly, no, they aren't. All pieces have different sizes. :(

I'll post more backgrounds tomorrow.

By the way, I can give you the uncompressed BMP files, if you want. But I guess PNG is still better. ;)

I was just playing that level a second ago; I can literally see the part where the mountains cut off, in the game.

But isn't that a two-layer background? If so, could you post the sky layer seperately from the mountain layer? If not, then fangames won't have parallax scrolling! :shock:

Also, do you know how to open TEX, TMP or DAT files? Also, the R2 DC ISO has lots of text files, which seem to be a mixture of French and gibberish. And words like "jano" and "StarTrek" are in there. Seriously.

No, the sky is still above the mountains. And if people want to make a fangame stealing the official graphics, well, then they should just be smart enough to do it on their own. :P

This is the last background of the Caves of Skops. Apparently, it's the same as one of the backgrounds I've posted before, but in purple. :|

Oh well, I had no more time for backgrounds today, because I was looking for a way to rip the sprites. And here are the results, even though you've already seen all of it, because I've ripped this from the memory before.

There is no difference in quality ( it's the best you can get ), but it's easier to rip all the sprites this way ( even the ones that are never loaded into memory! ).

Of course I will. I'll post both versions. ;)

EDIT -> I have ripped all the tiles, but I still need to piece them together.
