Re: The Oddworld Topic
Seriously?
Abe's Exoddus is the best game in the series.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
From the first two, I also think Exoddus is even better than Oddysee.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
Yeah, it was said to be an expansion or something like that. I still consider it an actual sequel though, since it did change some of the gameplay elements from Oddysee.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
I only tried/saw two thanks to Haruka: Abe's Oddysee and Munch's Oddysee.
...The first one...I don't say it is bad, but the style of the game scared me a little. ^^' Sorry if I sound fearful.
I prefered Munch's Oddysee. Anyway, I get more hooked with 3D games than with 2D games, I don't know why.

Don't worry Clara, when I met Oddworld's games I also was scared about the dark atmosphere of it. ^^Clara Knight wrote:I only tried/saw two thanks to Haruka: Abe's Oddysee and Munch's Oddysee.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
Thanks Haruka, I admit some parts had creepy sounds and the deaths were giving me chills. 'XD
I like the Fuzzles in Munch's Oddysee. XD (But never compare them with Gobbos.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
That's normal since I also felt the same the first time I've played Abe's Oddysee, but it is also a matter of habit. Now I'm not scared anymore.

Do not double post, Haruko
Re: The Oddworld Topic
Huh?
I finished Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee yesterday. I think I already know why I only have around 98% of Angelic Quarma and not 100%: I shouldn't have killed the Mud-archers by accident in the forest levels (even they aren't rescuable in the game, because I know I saved every Fuzzle, Labor Egg and Mudokon Scrubs).
It is a good game, but I still prefer more Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. Just missing some achievements to collect in Munch's game, but I think I can already start to play soon Stranger's game.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
I've just beaten Abe's Exoddus and freed all the 300 mudokons on steam!
I've also backed up my saves on mediafire.

The first Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee HD screenshot was revealed:

The original location in the original game:

Now I really want to own this remake when it comes out in PS3.

Holy shit yes, I'm extremely excited for this!
Re: The Oddworld Topic
It looks way better than I thought, so far. I really cannot wait to see gameplay footage, I heard that Oddworld and Just Add Water are going to show more stuff in September.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
I like how this Abe looks way more like he did in the old cutscenes.
Re: The Oddworld Topic
A gameplay footage was indeed confirmed for September, I really cannot wait to see.
They might have remastered the sounds too, and the music.

Re: The Oddworld Topic
Music would be one thing I wouldn't mind that they change. Not that the old soundtrack was bad or anything, but it wasn't all that memorable either. They should probably add a bigger variation of sound effects too.

Am I the only one with problems in the PC port of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath?
The game tends to freeze a lot for me...
