Actually, I don't prefer any controller. I like the PS2 controller. I like the Xbox 360 controller more though - but that's all probably just because I'm used to it now. The PS3 controller looks okay. The Wii controllers look okay too. I don't think the controllers are a big part of the console war. XD

Indeed. Games are more important. Games are developed by games developers. Sony has Naughty Dog, Team ICO and Insomniac 8)

Heck, it's a good thing they did alter the sensitivity for the analog sticks on the PS3 controllers. I did notice several gaping problems with movement, and this also caused the L3&R3 buttons to be pretty much insensitive.

I won't get Sony's console this generation (partially because I'm returning to PC gaming--that's where shooters are the best; in fact, I doubt I'm getting another console at all) though I did (kind of) like the first two--I just hated the DualShock controllers. I can rack up the biggest Tony Hawk combos I myself have ever seen with an Xbox controller (Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, I'm referring to), though with a DualShock I can barely even control the guy. I always liked the scheme that had a higher-placed left analog stick rather than a directional pad up higher. Trying to use both of those analog sticks with them positioned like that is something I still haven't mastered--even after nearly a decade or so since I got my original PlayStation. Didn't like the grip either.

And yes, it is the games that matter most, not hardware, and I love shooters and owning other people playing shooters, which is one reason why I like the PC and the Xbox 360. And since Unreal Tournament will never be near as good on consoles (mostly due to keyboard and mouse controls on the PC), plus the great library of shooters to choose from, old and new (I still play Quake II), I'll probably never get another console anyways. (If it's an action game, I have my old Xbox controller hooked up and configured via USB adapter, and if it's an RTS, I just won't play it because me trying to pay an RTS is just pitiful.)

No, I like the Xbox 360 controller as much as the Wii and PS3 controllers, but I like the PS2 controller a little less. XD

So you're saying PS3 controller = 360 controller = Wii controller > PS2 controller?

What think you of the Gamecube and the original Xbox controllers?

I don't like the Gamecube and Xbox 1 controllers very much. So, my opinion: PS3, XBOX360, Wii > PS2 > GC, XBOX1 (for the controllers, of course ).

I'd like a console to come out where you have sensor pads on your clothes and wear a helmet.

But what about people living in blocks of small flats? Or ladders in platformer? Or a game called "the Next Ultra-Long Journey With Johny The Runner"?

Which makes no sense.
WHAT THE FUCK?
That the ****! The way that it is done is completely screwed up. Shaking a pad?! I wait for PS3 "hand" controller instead, if it would be used. This, with very small mind-control (legs), would be good idea.

Bad move of Sony. They can cause fingerache now.

Shaking a pad? Usually you have to...tilt it...

...and I never got "fingerache", whatever you mean by that :/

But...can't you usually accelerate by gently pressing one button with your thumb...?

No, you should just...try and...not press the accelerate button too hard. It's either pressed or it's not. Pressing it harder won't make you go faster.

Just to clarify: He's talking about the trigger buttons (which imo suck on the PS3 controller), not the four regular thumb buttons.

I know, but it's hard.
