Hoenn hasn't been confirmed yet. It says there you get Heonn starters after you defeat Red. I quite like the idea of getting new starters when you reach Kanto.
EDIT : Some vids!

Giovanna is also going to be in this one instead of Blue. I don't have reference to that one though I just heard it.

I have high expectatives about this game, I also confess I never finished my Silver cartridge. (I need to buy a GBA SP somehow to not have the lack of light problems)

The furthest i've been with Gold is Red, i've never defeated him yet. I wouldn't like to see this one being easier saying that. I may have to use that walker a lot.

At least I can finally see my Hypno side to me. I must keep aware about this game.

Yeah and I can have my Dragonair. I hope we can re-battle Gym Leaders in this one too.

Not so, Giovanni is in it as part of an in-game event.
EDIT: Blue's name is now green though, as in Leaf Green.

Seriously? My brother beat him with level 40's. Just a warning, he's stronger in the remakes.
Anyway, while we're talking about pokemon, here are some random sprites made by me.

Cool sprites.
I'm still not sure if the games will bring that object that Japanese got bundled...

Really? At least we have him in the game.
Green makes sense but is it the girl choice in FR/LG? Or will it be the rival?

I wonder how a Wailord will follow me around.

It will be compressed, as Lugia is shown. Afterall Lugia is also very big.

The rival, just as in the originals except named Green instead of Blue. The female character in FLRG is named Leaf.

I like the music. What's wrong with it?

It used to be a ghost town (maybe you already know this but i'm posting this anyway.), so yeah let's compare it.
Lavender town, GB version.
Lavender town, GBA version.
In Lavender town there used to be a grave tower, basicly that's where the dead pokemon get buried.
Grave tower, GB version.
Grave tower, GBA version.
In the original gold and silver games they replaced the grave tower with the radio/tin tower.
Radio/Tin tower HG/SS version.
The new Lavender town isn't bad....... it's that the GB versions were the first pokemon games i ever played, and that i liked that one (lol i couldn't understand english and i didn't knew what was going on but i liked it anyway)

As I said I don't see what's so bad about it. I guess Lavender town doesn't mean a lot to me.

I didn't like Fire Red/Green because it wasn't different enough for me to not get bored. Hopefully they make Silver/Gold with more variations to keep it interesting.

I'm a big fan of the 1st generation game, so I think that the Leaf Green got even more addicting.
