I'm just so pumped up for this game. As I stated, this is the first ever Smash Bros game I'll own, because jackass cousins never use to let me play their N64 or their GameCube. I did get a taste of Brawl, but not so much to give an opinion. I have emulated the first game and I loved it but it's not the same on PC as in console.

I think there are very small cases where emulation can sometimes be better than the real thing. With N64 you're far better playing the real thing. But if you can get Dolphin Emulator to fully work, play Melee and buy a USB gamecube controller addon for your PC, it will feel not only like the real thing, but even better. You'd need a REALLY fucking good PC for this though.

Eh, I guess. But I just stick with consoles for now. My computer is slowly wearing out.

Dolphin can upscale games in HD but you're computer is very likely to not be able to handle it. It's one of the reasons why I built myself a gaming PC.

"Built myself a gaming PC"? Is that even possible?

Yes, pretty easily. Just order the parts off newegg and put it together. It's better than buying pre-built if you're going for a high end gaming experience.

Aye, my previous computer was custom-built, lived nine years and was still a pretty beastie even when it died - it outclassed many regular consumer-grade PCs by miles. I think the true powerhouses are indeed the custom-builts, given that you know how and what to include.

This reminds me of when I went into first year in secondary school having built my own computer the previous summer. My peers mocked me, thinking I was making stuff up (as I had previously – this was a new school though, so my overactive imagination was staying at home for a change). On the other hand, some of the teachers were really impressed, thinking that this would be a very difficult thing to do. Only one or two realised that this was a fairly simple task!

Sakuari explains why the Ice Climbers are excluded from Smash 4. http://mynintendonews.com/2014/09/16/sa ... tendo-3ds/
While the 3DS issues with them were known before, it's still a shame to see the Ice Climbers gone.

Still no reason why not to put them in Wii U version. He should have added some other character exclusive to 3DS version to keep it kinda fair.

I'm disappointed that there isn't a stage based off of Donkey Kong Country. Sure you got Jungle Japes, but that stage just seems kinda bland.

Mmm, just played the smash bros demo for a bit. And I'm sorry to say I still don't like the smash bros games :'). So, definitely not buying that, spares myself some money though!

To me it just seems quite random button mashing, I just don't get the point of the game :')
Oh, and I'm like really bad at it, but that might be because of the stuff appointed above.
Perhaps, someday, if someone would teach me...
