Thanks! < took 2 days making the Zelda logo practically from scratch apart from the basic font shape, whereas the Banjo one took about 10 minutes... Now < is planning to do a Mario 64 one but < can't think of a way to achieve the 3D effect properly.

< finally worked out a method to stop Windows compressing desktop backgrounds by editing the registry. Now <'s glorious Gauntlet wallpaper can enjoy being lossless and free of little multicoloured specks.
