According to The History of Rayman, it was already a good inspiration for Rayman 2: it was originally meant to be a 2D game, but then Ubisoft went to E3, saw Naughty Dog wreak havoc with their series, and chose to go for 3D. Very simple.
We already knew this lol, I think they said it somewhere (maybe in Le Fond de l'Affaire but forgot)
It isn't a novelty sadly since this was explained before in an interview (in which I don't remember already).
Yeah :/
Who gives a hoot? It's still a neat fact! :mryellow:

Oh, performing a system restore seems to have fixed it. It looked like it was in 256 colour mode but it wasn't in the properties, but it's all ok now. thanks for your concern though!

Guess which loser bought his FOURTH copy of Rayman Origins?

If you guessed me, you're a smart egghead, you!

(I bought it for the Wii if you were curious)

Awesome. I have 4 copies too. I have PS3 Collector's Edition, PC retail in Rayman Collection 2013, PC Steam and 3DS version. Gonna buy in future Wii version and Vita version.

doesn't the vita version have the relics you have to collect to learn more about Rayman's and Globox's past?

Yeah.

Rayman's relics show that he was originally bald and how he got his trademark Helicopter Hair.
Globox's relics show that he was originally red

Does anyone know how one would go about setting up a DualShock 4 controller to work with RO? I've been fiddling with the settings menu, but it's being a pain.

EDIT: Nevermind, it was being tricky due to detecting some input when nothing was pressed, managed to persevere and get past it.

The Wii version, emulated on a PC.

Also, it's nice to see how active this forum is. I wonder if people remember me? :P

Welp, here I am again! \o/

And that's kind of you! It's interesting how many Dutch (and Belgian, yes :P) people there are here.

You may be surprised to find that perhaps half of the English forum is trolled around upon by us Dutchies and Belgian Waffles.

I remember you! :D

Also I think we've always had a high Dutch concentration here.

I'm not Dutch. I'm Walloon... I'm not a big fan of the Dutch, without racism. :P
(But I like CHRdutch)

Not surprised, as I knew this from years ago. :P

I remember you too (as well as Shrooblord)! And indeed, we do. Soon, we'll scrap the English parts and start speaking Dutch (that would be horrible, in all seriousity :P).
