Huh, three cups? Blimey, <'s not done that in years.

< just bought Persona 4: Golden for £3.99 in the Vita January Sale. < thinks that's insanely cheap!

Fuck yeah dudeBzzit wrote:< just bought Persona 4: Golden for £3.99 in the Vita January Sale. < thinks that's insanely cheap!
< hopes you enjoy Persona 4 as it's one of the best RPG/Visual novel games < has played.
If ^ enjoys the Persona RPG's < would recommend the Shin Megami Tensei series though they can be grueling in comparison.
Re: The You Game!
< can't wait to play. < played Person 3 Fez on Ps2 and enjoyed it a lot. < has wanted this for a while and got a nice suprise when < looked on the Vita store for the first time in ages.
< would like to try them someday! < has too many JRPGs that < would like to catch up on though!!
< wonders if Persona 4 is challenging

Re: The You Game!
< also loves Persona 3 FES but despite < liking Persona 3 better than 4, 4 has the clearly better gameplay.
< can say Persona 4 is very easy on the normal difficulty but < really recommends you make some careful decisions so you can get that true ending and unlock the secret extra dungeon that was added to Golden

Re: The You Game!
Huh, interestingly, it seems the Teensies Quiz is the topic with the second most posts this month, behind the You Game, as < would expect. < is glad to see the Quiz is doing so well.

Re: The You Game!
< noticed how <'s activity went through the roof while the last two quizzes were on. It reminded < of the good old days.
Re: The You Game!
Interesting. < wonders if ^ preferred the characters and story in 3. < might do a blind run through on normal first, then go back for another playthrough with a guide for stuff < missed like < did with Dark SoulsRayfist wrote:< also loves Persona 3 FES but despite < liking Persona 3 better than 4, 4 has the clearly better gameplay.

Re: The You Game!
< was definitely amazed by how active ^ has been in the recent quizzes, < was very glad to see it. < is also amazed how we've almost hit 100 quizzes of TTQ 2.0, though perhaps it shouldn't technically be counting it as 2.0, as < did change the rules of the quiz around the 70/80s.PluMGMK wrote:< noticed how <'s activity went through the roof while the last two quizzes were on. Re: The You Game!
< is amazed about TTQ topic being second most active in terms of posts. Speaking about TTQ, < hopes more members can participate more in the special seasons, which are 99 and 100. < will no doubt, be competing for another title.

Re: The You Game!
It is a little surprising to have TTQ so high up that it's only the You Game that surpasses it, but < feels that the recent seasons have been more active. < checked it up further, and TTQ is actually the 9th most posted in topic of RPC overall.
<'s wondering if < should do a special edition of the TTQ when < gets the chance to commemorate the 100th. Perhaps a team based elimination format, but < realises that it would screw up the whole winner takes hosting rights idea, so perhaps < will wait until someone forfeits or if < decides to go for a win.

< kinda likes the idea of a team based format. < would like to know more of how it would go about if it ever happened. < might even have some ideas to make it work.

Re: The You Game!
Well, < has thought a little of it before, so if ^'s interested, <'ll just spout what <'s thoughts have been, and take it from there. <'ll drop the You-Game speak for the sake of getting <'s thoughts presented clearly.
Have a sign-up period where players register for the game, like the Mafia games of old. Given how members can also disappear, perhaps be flexible during first round and allow for new players to replace old. Afterwards, registrants only.
Ask questions over the course of a week, five per day, as normal. Correct answers give point to one team. At the end of the week, team with most points remains and split. Opposing team is eliminated. Bonus questions could give +3 points boost to correct team, but also would therefore have to be very challenging.
Since it's an anniversary, tings will be awarded in a different manner. Ting prizes will be awarded to winning teams at end of the rounds, but will also increase per round. (ie. Round 1 - 250 tings, 2 - 500 tings, 3 - 1000 tings and so on.
Eventually, there'll be two left to compete, as normal, for the ultimate win, at that point, it's traditional rules.

Re: The You Game!
< is getting very intrigued by it. A few questions and suggestions < would like to ask in standard way.
Would the winner of season 99 host it? Or you by default? Sounds dumb but it came to mind.
How many participants per team? Does it depend on how many sign up?
Suggestion: To improve the bonus questions, 2 points would be better than 3, just to extend the time of the competition.
EDIT: < would suggest taking this discussion over to TTQ topic.

Re: The You Game!
Interesting! < remembers <'s first TTQ, it was pretty exciting. < thinks it would be more fun without access to things like RayWiki though, because a lot of questions become a race to see who can find the incredibly obscure fact on the internet fastest instead of a test of knowledge, but then again at least it promotes learning new things about Rayman.

Re: The You Game!
Interesting idea there, Ambi. A total and complete shutdown of Raywiki during the season definitely provides an extra level of difficulty. Though, approval from the moderators would have to happen first.

Re: The You Game!
RayWiki is meant to be a general resource for the fandom at large, while < agrees that it factors quite heavily into the quiz, < doesn't think shutting it for the quiz would be appreciated by everyone. The question limit was probably conceived to limit the racing, but < concedes that it's not the most effective measure.
