Let's bring back our monkeys M1 and M2 and finite string S. Your wording is quite confusing, but I assume you're talking about the probability that, among an infinite number of monkeys, one writes S. Well, P(M1 types S or M2 types S) = 1 - P(M1 does not type S & M2 does not type S) = 1 - P(M1 does not type S) × P(M2 does not type S) = 1 - (1 - P(M1 types S)) × (1 - P(M2 types S)) = 1 - (1 - 1) × (1 - 1) = 1 (using the theorem again). You can easily see why adding an infinite numbers of monkeys won't change the probability, therefore your assertion that said probability is proportional to the number of monkeys is incorrect. Interestingly enough, your incorrect proof led you to the right value as the monkeys (whether one or all, whether they're finite or infinite) have a 100% chance of typing a given finite string. It means that the probability is 1, which translates as almost sure, not sure or guaranteed.
