What? < doesn't agree.
incognito wrote:Take it from a frenchie, French is damn hard to learn, depite being <'s native tongue there's still a loooot of grammar for < to be learnt (or you could say "be taught"),
What grammar, for example?
incognito wrote:and < speaks better than the average unable to conjugate their freakin verbs in their sentences.
< is inclined to think spelling the verbs correctly is a lot harder than just conjugating them. But it's not like English spelling is any easier. At least in French, while you can forget how to spell a word, it's usually obvious how to pronounce a written word (special mention of exceptions "eu", "chœur" and "zone" which just happen to come to mind).
incognito wrote:< really got uninterested in French lately, because of how the average speak it.
< feels somewhat this way about Irish. But that's not <'s native language, nor is it most other people's (which is why it's so badly spoken in the first place).

< started writing a native C++ based OpenGL engine, and < forgot about the sheer number of things you have to watch out for in C++ vs C#. < has been getting the hang of it over the last two days though; < absolutely loves macros and finds them incredibly useful.

< has been thinking about trying to get a small C++ project out in the open although < is now pondering if Unreal can handle OpenGL on top of that

^^ makes < realize how much < regrets not having learned Perl earlier. < really regrets writing some clunky C/C++ tools for <'sself in the past.

< has plans to start using a server at home to learn with, such as running ESXi and virtualization multiple machines (as needed) onto the same machine that takes up only 2U rack space.
For the tech savvy folks here, <'s expecting a Dell PowerEdge R710 to arrive Monday. It will come equipped with dual Intel Xeon X5650 Hex Core processors, 144GB of RAM, and the PERC 6i RAID card. Used, but highly functional for what I plan to use it for.

< has the Sims 3 and one of the expansions on Steam, < can't believe how many there are, and how much they cost combined.

No, really, < is literally unhappy in <'s life since loong time now, < can't find anything that < enjoys doing, and < feels utterly depressed and really barely has the strength to do anything anymore. The rare times < feels good are when < successfully forgets everything for a little bit, and the more it goes, the less < is able to forget or shrug off.
Or perhaps enlist in the army, I'm a pretty obedient dude, can adapt to many situations, knows pretty much more than 65 weapons names and calibers, and has a biiig envy to die, at least if < does so for something, < would probably feel <'s life was less of a waste.

(< realizes <'s last post about English may have seemed harsh, but that wasn't <'s intention. < was just trying to show how hard English is.)
