Rayman Legends is on sale for £4 on Steam, for those who are crazy enough (like myself) to not have bought the game yet.

I'm tempted. Rayman Origins never really hooked me that much, but...£4!

Honestly, it is a great chance to get it. I also noticed this morning that Child of Light and Valiant Hearts were 75% off so the prices were insanely low. I took the chance to buy them. STEAM is spectacular: now Portuguese costumers can also pay the games through ATM or PayShop. No more PayPal balance or pre-paid cards needed!

Is there any option to downgrade the specs of the game? I can run Origins pretty well but I remember the Legends demo being nearly unplayable on my outdated laptop.

Yeah. You can change the resolution and uh, that's about what I know.

I'm pretty sure that Legends has considerably higher system requirements than Origins.

Sadly you can't change much except for the resolution. Before I upgraded my computer, there were some areas that it started to lag a bit due to its outdated CPU.

When I lower resolution to most minimum one, Legends works without issues on my PC. Higher resolutions on the other hand...

I don't see it happening without external help, I do remember one of the prominent Sonic hackers releasing a video showing them running around in a modded RL, but I can't find it again.

I don't think so, it was a video with UbiRay, if memory serves.

They will eventually do Banjo Kazooie.... give Rayman a backpack then put inside one of the evil birds from Origins.
