Three is a crowd.

4 player is absolute chaos and it's so much fun.

Re: Rayman Origins
Co-op wouldn't be essential for me for 100% completing, unless I had three other people who were as dedicated as me for getting 100%.
Re: Rayman Origins
Ah man I'd really love to play the games entirely with 3-4 players, I've done some multiplayer stuff in RO and it makes the game so much more fun. I like being able to simultaneously work together and punch you in the face, not sure why some reviewers got onto NSMBWii and Origins for being too chaotic in this aspect.

Re: Rayman Origins
I completed both Origins and Legends ~95% each, but stopped caring after I unlocked a certain thing (the one before the last costume in Origins, Raymesis(?) ) and/or just lost interest in progression.

Re: Rayman Origins
Hey, I have the Vita version of Rayman Origins and I'm trying to get all of the relics so I can see the last mural cutscene. It seems Ubisoft made it so you can only get your last piece with Near, not by finding them in game.
So I am missing puzzle piece 59. If anyone out there can help me with this, please add me, PSN: syntheticgerbil.
I can send over pieces 6, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 24, 25, 30, 31, 33, 37, 38, 40, 42, 43, 45, 48, 51, 52, 53, 55, 56, and 60 if you would like to trade.

My friend has Origins on his Vita and may be able to help you, I'll ask him on Monday.syntheticgerbil wrote:Hey, I have the Vita version of Rayman Origins and I'm trying to get all of the relics so I can see the last mural cutscene. Re: Rayman Origins
Thank you!
It's so frustrating that the reason I got the Vita version, the relics, lock you out of getting 100% of them unless you know someone else with the game and a Vita who has hopefully also gotten most of if not all the relics.

Re: Rayman Origins
I managed to get every Relic without connecting to someone else, dunno what your deal is.
Re: Rayman Origins
Btw, have you guys ever tried to slowdown to 50% the lums chant when they're red?
You'll hear the normal chant, it was one man who was singing and they sped that up :p

Edit:
Not really sure how it works but my friend doesn't have the piece your missing available to send and the one he is missing, number 46, it doesn't seem like you have available to send either
Anyone else who can help? Seems like my friend was missing one piece as well and he has gotten all of the relics from the levels

Re: Rayman Origins
Thanks, I accepted their request. Too bad they don't have the puzzle piece. I checked for 46 to see if I could upload it but I don't have it. I have 6, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 24, 25, 30, 31, 33, 37, 38, 40, 42, 43, 45, 48, 51, 52, 53, 55, 56, and 60.
I don't really know how to specifically send stuff to friends via Near either though. I think maybe it should just update with people on your friends list, but it seems Sony changed how Near looks according to some of the instruction manuals I see.
Oh well though, thanks for the help!
If you start a new game, there's a chance you could finish with all of the relics, but also there's a chance you won't, so it wouldn't be a great idea to go through all of it again.

I think it's just luck, often you get duplicate relics and there's nothing you can do. I've seen most people end up just missing one, but sometimes they are unfortunate enough to miss two. The problem is once you have gotten all the relics and the trophy for it, you can't recollect them in the same game you started.Bionichute wrote:I managed to get every Relic without connecting to someone else, dunno what your deal is.

Re: Rayman Origins
Oh, so the relics aren't connected to your save slot? Too bad you can't have several slots on the vita then as that might have solved it. And regarding Near I have no idea how it works as I don't have a vita.
If you ever find anyone else willing to trade relics I would be happy to know as my friend would really much like the relic he is missing as well

Re: Rayman Origins
Yeah a second save slot would fix everything.
I've been trying to hit up some people on the Playstation Trophies thread about this, but everyone keeps ignoring me. If I find anyone, I'll ask them if they have 46 as well and see if it can get sent to your friend.

Re: Rayman Origins
Thank you
! Hope you find someone, but it's a kind of old game now so that may be why.

Re: Rayman Origins
Replaying a bit of this game, I've noticed it has a lot more atmosphere than I remember. Maybe my memory was tainted by Legends's and the mobile games' more childish direction, but Origins does have some semblance of tonal awareness at times. I can't get past the whole storyline issue, but I definitely appreciate Origins for actually making me feel like I'm in Rayman's world again.

Re: Rayman Origins
Holy shit... this just hit my memory like a bullet. Remember when we all gasped at this?
We all felt like everything we knew was a lie, and then the discussions about the Magician being Mr. Dark started. I also noticed something funny. Those animated rigs were broken as shit, haha, they totally destroyed the Magician's model with that evil pose at the very beginning... in fact, I think his thumbs are in the wrong place. As an animator myself, I'm pretty sure it's all fault of a lack of a good library of hands, and some questionable choices while placing bones on the model. Thankfully they fixed those animation issues in Legends and improved the Magician's model.

Re: Rayman Origins
I really like those cutscenes. Reminds me of the first game when Rayman would dance with the bosses after defeating them; almost as if the Magician was using that memory to his advantage.
