Indeed! < recently had LineageOS lose the ability to function just because < used <'s car interface to hang up a phone call via Bluetooth. Orders of magnitude worse than anything < ever heard of from Windows!!! < had made a backup that morning so < was fine.
In fairness, it's done by third parties who have to go off what the manufacturers provide. Either ways, <'s done the backup now, so all is good.
