< got a Nokia back in 2009, which promptly became <'s mother's since she had more use for it than <. Then < had <'s trusty Samsung Galaxy SII from December 2011 to July 2015, when <'s complaints (about missing polytonic Greek on Android 4 (!), along with general sluggishness) caused <'s dad to randomly buy a cheapo phone in Aldi. Then < reverted to the Samsung for about eight weeks in late 2016 when < discovered Replicant, but then the modem started going on the blink. < went back to the Aldi phone, which < rooted and promptly bricked while trying to "de-Googlify" it in a pub on Friday night! Which leads us to <'s current phone, a Moto E, which < bought because they didn't have any Moto Gs in the shop when < went, and < hadn't done enough research on other manufacturers!

< has returned for potentially a short time.

< has a feeling < ought to talk to Plum a lot more, in regards to tech.

Somehow < didn't figure out Lenovo owned Motorola until quite recently. Which means my (nice mod-friendly) Moto E and the (insanely sparsely-documented) Medion from Aldi are actually from two different subsidiaries (divisions?) of the same company!

< really likes the HTC One M9, built in speakers are really nice for a phone.
