Still no luck. And unfortunately I no longer have Rayman M, as I bought Arena back when we were trying to play it online (because of it's LAN capabilities), so that crack won't work. But thanks anyway.

I'm sure that crack will work too on Rayman Arena ;) The only difference is the LAN captabilities, for the rest, the engine ( in non techy words, the program which one of it's tasks is to check if the CD is in the CD drive ), doesn't really differ. So it will most likely work.

Try it !

If it still doesn't work, run it in compatibily mode for "Windows 98/ME" or "Windows Xp".

Just tried it, the crack certainly doesn't work unfortunately. Neither did compatibility mode..

You try inserting both CD's as I mentioned earlier? Again, you have to put in Disk 1 first, and then when it says the disk is wrong, swap for disk 2 and click "retry".

Does anyone has got direct links to download Rayman Arena for PC? To see if it works on my computer.

I don't know what else to say other than to find a CD crack (if possible) or try reinstalling it. :(

I'm doing a play-through of the single player for this game. See the topic I opened up for details.

Everything in Rayman Fanpage, we already know about it.

I heard that Murfy gets beaten up by all the characters in Rayman Arena and then you see a tombstone with 'J.M. Murphy' written on it. Can anyone confirm this?

Can indeedy do, a few peeps here posted videos that I think can easily be found on youtube [albeit in shitty digital camera quality]

Where the JM Murphy part comes from though I have no idea.

From that crappy Rayman Wikia place:
In Rayman Arena he acts as a newsfrog and goes into the characters' training rooms with a camera, revealing the basic summary of the pending competition. However, for doing this, someone in the training room will dash to the door and shut it before Murfy can leave, and we can hear from outside the door Murfy being beaten to death, screaming not to rip out his wings or his eyes. Before the clip is over, we can see R.I.P. at the bottom of the screen. He is referred to as J.M. Murphy.
I guess I must have skimmed it and assumed that the RIP message appeared on a tombstone for some reason.

Edit: It's true. Yo just need to look closely...

I saw that video quite time ago, but someone with Rayman Arena should record it with higher image/sound quality.

I take it that Windows recognizes it just fine then?

And I don't have the GC version of Rayman Arena... :( Actually, it's kind of staggering how different each version is for every platform... except for the PC & PS2 versions, where they seem to be pretty much the same.

You shouldn't need compatibility mode for Rayman M. It works fine for me on 7.
