Maybe someone should take a quick look at the game's overall size comparing whatever available version with this "Ubi30" release.
...maybe he just doesn't remember that they cut the story from the game...orrrr...he wants us to notice that there are actual traces of a cut storyline's remnants left in the game's data and some of the cinematics? Dunno...O_o

The "Ubi30" version is 2.43 GB, and after a fast google, I've found that, the steam version's installation folder is around 2.3 GB, so I guess there is nothing new in this version. In that case, I must've missed the message in the xbox version.

Sounds to me like he's saying, "Those idiots cut my story to the bare minimum, can you please tell me if you understand any of it from what was left in??".

Well, that's also a possibility. *not sure if a sad or a laughing smiley should be here*

I downloaded the free Uplay version and compared all game files to the Steam version and the size is identical down to the last byte, so no changes made here at least. It even recognized my Steam save file.
One odd thing is that it comes with 2 .exe files, though they are identical.

Wow, Michel Ancel looks like he has been working without sleep for weeks. He has trouble keeping his eyes open and his beard and messy hair don't exactly make him look any fresher.

Yeah, it sounded like that to me too. It's weird that he would make a video message for that though. Perhaps they're trying to poll whether they can attempt this style of non-story again in a Rayman game.

Its good to see Ancel talking to the public crowd from time to time

Wow, I'm pretty mystified by what Ancel said. It does sound like he's trying to gauge public opinion on the story as it is, like he's unsure if it conveys the appropriate message or not.

He's looking pretty wild.

Then we need to make it crystal-clear the answer is "Hell no!", right?

Well there's one thing that we can be absolutely sure about:
The guy is NOT aware of the discussions taking part here on these forums.
Is he even aware of the existence of this place like...at all? xD

My theory is that Ubi-Mya tried to tell him about the RPC but got unfairly fired before she could.
Yes, I make it sound like a conspiracy. But let's remember that Ubisoft develops games about a global domination of the Templar. They must have been inspired from somewhere...

Nice theory. Mine is he does know about us but is trying to reach out to sane people who perhaps haven't played the game before.

Michel Ancel looks like.... A bit like Isaac Clarke in Dead Space 3 with that messy look.
There must be an hidden message in this, an easter egg, a secret area or something... This looks like an hint.

The pun is intended?

Because the guy hasn't tested cocaine, it keeps you awake whenever you need it, the problem is the nasty addictions it comes with.

They completely stole the idea from me, who do you think invented watch dogs ? It was me !

I'm pretty sure she told me they already know about RPC, she was even about to tell her about UnLockRay but she forgot

Rude. That's how he always looks.

To me it sounded like he was just asking people what the game meant to them, or how it affected them, whether their experience came from the visuals, the soundtrack, or the nonexistent story.

I guess you're right, though he's never looked so tired before. I was only saying his looks amplify that feeling a bit, but it's mostly his expression. It's exactly the same one that I make when I've only slept for 2 hours.
Adsolution wrote:To me it sounded like he was just asking people what the game meant to them, or how it affected them, whether their experience came from the visuals, the soundtrack, or the nonexistent story.
That's most likely it, though it's a little weird that he explicitly mentioned "the most important thing is about the scenario of the game" and "this deep and crazy scenario". If it was about everything, then he should just have said "the game". Tired people make mistakes though.

No, I'm pretty sure he meant what do you make of the ending of Origins. He stated that the story of Origins is very complex and wants people to respond (via Twitter) what they make of the story and the ending.

He could also be saying that there's a hidden message in the game that people did find yet, but I doubt that.
