You can get back achievements if you have save file that did them. I know I was missing some achievements and when I used different save file and when I started game, all achievements that I was missing were added.Rayfist wrote:Because Uplay on PC is such a piece of shit great program, it deleted all my achievements, occasionally it will reload again mid-game. I actually still have yet to reach max awesomeness but I'm very close, even if I do I won't be surprised if the achievement doesn't load.

Re: Rayman Legends
I'm using the same file that I always have. Uplay is just shit honestly. Such an unnecessary thing to have. Origin may be an awful service but at least it functions and I've never ran into any problems with it, Game For Windows Live though is the worst of them all though.

Re: Rayman Legends
I never really minded Uplay in Rayman Legends (I don't even recall it being in Origins). On PS3 I got a pretty cool Rayman Legends theme, and on PS4 I got the disco skin, which I never use but it's neat to see, especially since it has the Rayman 3 shoes in Legend's style.
Also, how Disco Rayman is able to glide with that hair is beyond me.

Re: Rayman Legends
I'm talking about Origin the service DRM that is ran by EA, not Rayman Origins. I will admit few features Uplay offers like the in-game achievements that can be used for currency to unlock stuff is cool, but no amount of tacked on features can change the fact Uplay is broken beyond belief.

Re: Rayman Legends
Wait, I thought we were just talking about Uplay, where does Origin come into play?
I've never used Origin so I can't speak for it, but from what I've experienced with Uplay I wouldn't say it's broken (On PlayStation at least). I thought it was a cool way to earn alternative "experience points" from Ubisoft games.

Re: Rayman Legends
I'm comparing Uplay to the other DRM services out there. I know it's a bit out of blue but I just wanted to point out why I think Uplay and other DRM services are totally unnecessary.
I'm glad you never ran into any problems, that's great actually, but just remember it's pretty common to run into one, as many people like myself have had problems.

Re: Rayman Legends
Right, I'm not saying they don't exist, I'm sure people have had their fair share of bad experiences with it, I was just giving my 2 cents with my experience.
But I'm primarily a console gamer, so I knew little to nothing about Uplay, and after 34 seconds of research I can definitely see the comparison now. I thought Uplay was just a side service for Ubisoft games but evidently not.

As of the lum count I've just passed the 1,1 million mark and yup, I'm around the middle of the tenth level of Awesomeness.
Anyone wants to throw me a friend request? I do play Challenges nowadays, because they are the only stuff I have enough braincells left at the end of the day (having a full-time job here, also the first job I've ever did which comes with actual payment, lol).

Both UPlay and Origin (especially the latter) are crap. Period.

DAMMMN gurl you serious!Haruka wrote:Both UPlay and Origin (especially the latter) are crap. Period.
No but I agree. I'm saying at the very least Origin is functionable unlike Uplay. Regardless, both are unnecessary programs, should just stick with the steam DRM.
Re: Rayman Legends
Steam is clearly superior platform, more stable, convenient. Only thing that Origin has better over Steam is customer support, but ultimately, the games and experience while gaming is where I care most.

I'm just saying, spamming B does not work in battle, you'll get your ass handed to you.
