Question 8: Was Rayman 1 released in Japan? If yes, what ports did it get there? Can you still adquire a japanese version of Rayman 1 today, like buying online a digital release?

It was on PS1 & Saturn, don't think it was rereleased however.

PS1, Saturn and the Game Boy Color version where all available in Japan. I believe It's available on the 3DS virtual console in Japan, too.

I mean the japanese edition of Rayman 1. Rayman 1 was never fully in japanese besides intro/outro. Your answer was missing just one point if that's an help

Yes, the GBC in 3DS Virtual Console counts. There is just one of those 2 platforms left, which can be still adquired digitally today, if that helps.
