for me it says "unexpected error"..
but its maybe due to the directX instalation problem, now i hav 16bit colours in rayman m

If you are having issues with the game and DirectX, then it would have control problems, because it sees the gamepad through DirectX in the first place.

in the instalation it said "directX error" and then it finished and i could play.
When i launched the game the graphic settings opened and there was a very low resolution, 640x480 i think
i enlarged it to 800x480 with 16bit colours..

what now?

Well, thanks to Drolpiraat (?), I can play Rayman Arena (the Gamecube version) on the Dolphin emulator. But, the game crashes when I try to use Dark Globox in a race mode, and when I try to play Rise & Shrine. Also, I can't see the intro movie or Murphy's movies. Does anyone know a way to fix these problems? Thanks will advance towards the front.

Not on my (previous) computer...In fact, it wouldn't run at all...

I think that your specs are more important than your operating system.

Well I can say some specs:

Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66Ghz

RAM: 3,25 GBs (G-Skill Brand)

How exactly did one unlock Dark Rayman? By beating all Exhibition courses, or what? Rayman Arena (for the Gamecube) is really a million times easier than Rayman M (for the PC).

EDIT: Nevermind, the Master courses only show up after quiting and restarting the game. Great, that Rise & Shrine bug...Now I can play Shadow Plains infinitely and then some more...

I can't say the exact specifications, but one thing is for sure: try to beat every challenge on every league.

Anyway, i'd really like her to return :3 She would make an intresting character. Like she would have been created by Ly, and would serve as some sort of counterpart to Rayman in the limbed world. Or something like that.

Ly was originally going to appear on Rayman M, but due to animating problems (And very probabily her real height), she was scrapped and substituted by a new character: Tily.

Despite of that, Ly still appears on Rayman M artwork.

i remember this thing in rayman M in the place the "thousand waterfalls" if you go behind it this waterfall you see globox just laying on the beach lol

Why? Tily is a great character.

She looks like a nasty mushroom-thingie.

She kind of made the game unisex, from a playability point of view.
