I know that, but I thought it was strange that I watched a Spanish movie last night and mentioned two Spanish movies in my post, then he mentioned a Spanish movie he had seen called Spanish Movie. Seemed... providential.

I don’t know how many Spanish films get translated; the two I mentioned are fairly well-known, so it’s natural they would have better distribution. I watched both of them with English subtitles, not dubs, if that’s what you were wondering. As for Spanish series (assuming you mean television series), I haven’t a clue.

The Expendables was last on my movie list...my thoughts? Don't go in expecting a political drama or romantic comedy(though with a cast like that, why would you?) and if nothing else, you'll be entertained for the next 90 minutes or so. Plus, a scene where Stallone, Willis and Scwarzenegger are there at the same time is like Chuck Norris teaming up with Bear Grylls; epicness in a can. XD

2001: A Space Odyssey was very strange and interesting, if slightly unsettling. I think I will watch more of Kubrick’s films soon.

Only The Shining and 2001 so far. I think I’ll watch Dr Strangelove next.

It'll be Spartacus for me. But I think I'm gonna watch Grave of the Fireflies tomorrow.

There must be pretty tiny flowers.

I'll be surprised if no tears come to Des' eyes when he watches GOTF.

It makes you hate humanity with a vengeance.

I know you want to watch it to but there's no need for swearing.

We'll see tomorrow. It's going to be real sad indeed. But that should be great.

I've heard it is a great movie, but very very "heavy" and heart-touching.

Michel Ancel has cited Grave of the Fireflies as an influence.

Fantastic, thanks for the link.
Now I guess I really should watch the film, years ago a person recommended me this movie, but saying to be careful for its "heavy" content.
For things I've heard, I guess I will drop some tears.

I watched Saw III yesterday. It's better than Saw II, but those two films are stupid. It's really funny when you're with friends though.
