As I said Hoenn would be the more likely remake as Kanto is already on DS but Gen 6 in general has mostly been attempts to please older fans which is why I said Kanto remakes wouldn't be out of the question, perhaps after Hoenn but who knows.

Speaking of regions new ones have been hinted in XY which lead people to theorise that a new one could be in Z as a bonus region or starting in said new region.

It is, Gen 2, and its remakes HGSS, have both Kanto and Johto in them, the whole thing.

Nope, every city, every route, and most gym leaders from Kanto return (though with a few changes, as Gen 2 takes place after Gen 1, time moves on).

Nice. Well I just remember seeing a playthrough where they went to Kanto, and they started at the 3rd gym. Which made me assume it wasn't the full region, there you go Serza!!

Quite so, I still have Emerald on emulator on my phone, should continue it sometime.

Aye I have Emerald on phone as well I need to complete, just arrived/arriving at the 3rd gym if memory serves correctly.

- And yes Hoenn! That game had some kickass music to it, it'd be nice to hear how they'd re-do some of the sounds from that game. Had a real coastal tropical feel.

Aye it would be, Wattson is a fine man; fairly underrated gym leader.

Indeed, didn't help that I had a Combusken and a Wingull, two flying types.

Combusken is Fire/Fighting though.
