<'s not one to be an old miserable git, but the kids yelling at the top of their voices outside are really getting on <'s nerves. < wonders how their throats don't dissolve into bloody chunks with the frequency of obnoxious screeching that they emit.

< knows how that feels like. < would just go complain.

Some wonderful imagery there

Kids will be kids. < suggests you join in and bellow the most otherworldly screech you can from your window to see how they react, maybe they'll appreciate it! Or more likely run away in fear

Yeah, it's a public space at the end of the day, < might find it extremely annoying, but I'd rather it'd be open than clamped down. As for yelling back, these were either teens or pre-teens, < doesn't think it'd be productive.

< wonders if ^ done anything to attempt to drown their voices out. All doors and windows shut? Perhaps turning some music on?
< overslept like usual on a Saturday.

< doesn't mind this too much in most cases, it's only <s next door neighbours kids tgat gets on <s nerves as they tend to be stupendously loud

Don't get < wrong, it's not like < seethes with fury and rage every time < sees a kid. <'s issue was with the excessive and obnoxious collective amount of noise being generated.
As for closing windows and doors, < wishes < could, but <'s stuck in an annoying rut with summer and <'s skin condition. Given how <'s managed to scratch <'s skin clean off in the past due to how severe <'s itching got, <'d take the noise over the itch. Still, < does need to vent now and then, just to get <'s annoyance out.

This conversation reminds < of a conversation < had yesterday in which < got the impression that <'s co-workers are all slightly afraid of <. That's what < gets for cursing at Microsoft Excel every ten minutes!

< was feeling wistful too last weekend, because <'s old secondary school was having its annual concert. Even though < didn't manage to make it there, < wound up being in the same pub that the teachers and some of the students went to afterwards! < then got a hug from the vice-principal, at least once she realized it was me under all the hair!

Sounds like a nice vice-principal! Not that < has had any particularly mean principals, in fact the principal of <'s primary school was one of the kindest people <'s met.
< is eating choccy Hobnobs with tea, the perfect dunking biscuits.

My God...

One's angry...
You should use headphones. Like SonicGear StudioPro, they're huuuuuge, have an awesome sound and are outstandingly cheap. They're also the model < uses and < can guarantee the isolation.
Or... The way real badasses do it, like < (duh) Scare the fuck outta them.

< doubts Master would do something like that. Plus, how easy is it to scare away most teenagers? They'll most likely come back even if they get scared.
< will be eating a chocolate doughnut for a snack.

< is trying to get Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth 2 working on <'s PC, it's an old RTS and it's proving a pain in the arse to get up and running

< thinks that's what ^ wants us to believe. Though the reality is that ^ seethes with fury and rage towards any innocent child. ^ would be fearsome like Aku.

History finals are closing in on <. Time to resume some long studying.
< wishes the last final was Science. < is better at Science than history.
