< will always run AdBlock. < knows a lot of sites will try guilt-tripping you or worse, but < doesn't care. <'s priorities is that security comes first.
< feels this too, especially with those sites which have "Please consider subscribing" under their ads

< is quite amazed with Dolby's scaling on <'s home theater system. < decided to watch A Goofy Movie on DVD, which doesn't even have 5.1 digital surround sound, just 2.0 and the Dolby Surround mode on <'s Marantz AV7703 pre-pro scales it up to 7.1.4 pretty dang well. One scene with the thunderstorm coming as they get back into the car was even heard in the overhead speakers, rain and thunder as things should. :)

< switched from AdBlock to Ublock Origin as well, < still manages to end up with the odd sneaky pop-up, mind you.

< hasn't ran into anything too troublesome, but < does get the odd one that gets through. Perhaps < should check the settings and see if there's anything < can do.

<'s rediscovered porridge. < has tried it in the past, but it's never really been something < ate, until now. <'s tempted to switch to it as <'s morning meal. Then again, it might just be that <'s bored of cereal.

< says you can't get bored of cereal if you never get up for breakfast
That said <'s choice of breakfast tends to be chocolate filled croissants or pain au chocolats

Cereal for < is the embodiment of the daily grind. It's why < tends to be averse to having it on <'s off days. Hence why < wonders if < made porridge <'s new regular, <'s preference for it may diminish.

< has been regularly eating cereal for breakfast for so many years now. Never can go wrong with a bowl of Frosted Flakes with extra milk for the first meal. :P

< hadn't heard of uBlock actually. Whatever, NoScript probably catches the nasties that slip through ABP. < needs to review <'s whitelists for both though. :mefiant:

< was tempted at one point to try noscript, but < opted to go for Privacy Badger and Ublock instead. < knows Noscript is more encompassing, however.

< actually had the same experience recently, <'s switched to porridge for breakfast. <'s breakfasts usually come in waves, < will have corn flakes for about a year and then one day there will be none in the cupboard as we forgot to buy them, and there'll be only Shreddies for example. A year of Shreddies later, there will be no Shreddies in the cupboard so < will eat the next best thing and not switch for a year or so because <'s rediscovered the goodness of said cereal. Looks like the exact same thing's happened, so it seems < will be eating a lot of porridge from now on...
