That reminds < of when < heard some really loud chirping while in <'s bedroom and when < opened the window to see, it just seemed to get quieter. Turns out there was a little bird sitting on the end of my bed in plain sight and < didn't notice until it flew out the window

< had a couple of birds fly inside in the last few years as well. There was this pigeon who really liked to poop on the balcony windowsill. I searched for some tips online and one guy said lubing up the windowsill with vaseline makes it pretty much impossible for the birds to land so they give up eventually. That worked perfectly, the next time the pigeon tried to land, he started flapping his wings frantically and flew away, while I was observing the scene triumphantly. He never came back.
