< would have thought the Asian stuff is noodles, and the European stuff is pasta.
< wonders how you lot prepare said noodles? < always tends to boil them on full heat until the liquid goes syrupy rather than eating them like a soup where they're submerged in liquid, though every now and then < might get some ham and a boiled egg and eat it more like a classic ramen soup

< usually boils noodles until bubbling then turns down the heat and add flavouring & extras then wait until the liquid is almost all gone

< thinks it's going to take a little while to get used to Master's new sig, but < really likes it nonetheless

Believe <, <'s going to have to adjust too. But <'s glad < finally got round to updating it.

Funnily enough <'s colleagues had a discussion about the difference between pasta and noodles over lunch today! < believes the presence of rice was mentioned.

< put a current of 50 mA through a little 3 mm × 3 mm silicon die this afternoon.

Hmm, that's a pretty tiny die. < wonders if that die had any particular purpose?

Silicon Photomultiplier. < was investigating what happens when they're biased with a really high voltage, and limiting the current to a few milliamps just wasn't informative enough.

That said, < believes the device can still work after that experience, somehow…

Aaaaah
< might not have done too well with sewing cosplay but < did a lot of very progressive stuff on the job game, which is almost to basic perfection

A small detail < kinda wishes < could recreate, in the Metroid logo, the spaces within the letters are polygonal as opposed to curved. Still, < thinks <'s done well, and < thinks <'s got the Metroid stylee while keeping a general Sci-Fi vibe. (Granted, the detail is all Gallifreyan, so it's more a Metroid-Doctor Who combo than general Sci-Fi)
For comparison, here's the Metroid Prime logo:

< could suggest some alternative earworms to ^^.

< went a step further today and subjected another SiPM to 100 mA. Purely in the interest of science. < definitely fried something this time! (< says something because it might have been a component on the circuit board other than the device itself.)
< also didn't post much today.

<'s day has been stressful trying to figure stuff out, especially for getting <'s game to work with <'s laptop which is a lot slower than <'s desktop

Hmm, if ^ still has the original project file <'s sure < could make a few polygonal Metroid letters if ^ wanted

< appreciates ^'s offer, however, <'s a bit personal when it comes to <'s sigs. < prefers it to be wholly <'s work. It's not exactly rational, and < certainly knows ^'s capable of doing it, but <'s sigs are a personal undertaking for <.
