Perl is actually one of the few programs < hasn't touched upon at all, not that < has had that much exposure to Python as well

Aside from breaking mugs < also disabled HyperThreading on <'s work computer yesterday because of a bug in Excel. That's actually what gave < the idea to thread <'s Python program (which runs on a separate Linux workstation that < accesses via VNC).

Well, for old times's sake < dived into <'s 2015 playlist, < shouldn't do it for too long as it will end up bringing bad mems.
But early 2015 was sweet on RPC, < gotta admit.

< never ever touched Perl, despite being the first language < wanted to learn as a total n00B

< wonders what attracted you to Perl in particular as a noob (well, apart from the fact that it's a great language ), and why you didn't go through with learning it.

For some reason it was one of the very first languages < ever heard of, with Java and C++, what didn't made w go through was probably the lack of resources < had back then, the lack of time and also the fact < was an unexperimented wastelander.

<'s first language was technically TruBasic, which < supposes doubles up as the first language < has ever heard of

<'s timezone always has it start at 5 PM the Friday before which tends to be even harder to secure time for because so far every year < had something to do on one or the other, but < has at least 6-7 hours guaranteed on Friday
