Even more random trivia. Host is Mannitou (you can call me Stan or Stannitou though). The godkill IRL is "dropping a piano". If godkill will be caused by inactivity, I will refer to it as "dropping a clavi".

At worst case, I can invite my RL friends. Wait, this is bad idea.
So far we have 7 people in then, with Xenon possibly interested. I wonder is PM spam good way to invite people?

OK. RL invitations are started, though I doubt anybody will have time. Only friend who is not on holiday received a laptop lately, and is busy... with it.
Spamming PC members will be utilised soon.
Don't you know: If Investigator dies during night, investigation fails.

My real life friends are off, so tomorrow I will send some PMs to previous mafia participants.
Meanwhile, discuss: isn't it a good idea to make the game on IRC instead of forum? The reason is, put simply, game is really dependent on sequence, so unfortunate take of events could make 1 night as long as 2 weeks even if everyone would technically visit RPC every 24 hours. On the other hand, we could bend rules to allow people to PM me at evening what will they do, but I didn't try it before and it still would cause problems because of the sequence.
If everyone would visit forums around same time though (say, there would be 30 minutes everyone's online), this problem would be virtually nonexistant.

On an Irc? it would be really reaaly complicated to organize... Oh and one fact: I'm french so for me it's sometimes kinda hard to understand and to explain myself as well as english... =(

Yup, I also think that might not be very convenient on a forum... but getting 15 people on the irc at the same time isn't easy either.

The main problem is basically every "move" at night depends heavily on what happened before. Most obvious thing is that sheriff and drunkard cause others to not move. What is worse however, is that sheriff jails someone every night, so making sheriff not jail anyone would be totally gamescrewing.

SPECIAL INTERNET COOLOO RULES DRAFT 1
1) We use normal accounts.
2) In order to activate skill, vote, whatever, you send PMs or emails to host (me) with subject being recognisable.My adress is stan 423 fancyswirledletter gmail dot com.
3) Basically you should log in every 24 hours at least, although logging in more will make game more fluent presumably.
4) In case you may be passive, lack of message in 24 hours will be interpreted as being passive.
5) In case you must do something and you, lack of message in 24 hours will be interpreted in annoying way. For example, Indians will kill themselves, sheriff will jail a non-citizen who surely has no figurine and probably has nothing to do that night, and checkup votings will be interpreted in a way depending on fraction.
6) In case points 4 and 5 used with a member repeatedly and lack of activity during day also detected, player will be godkilled by means of falling clavi.
7) Because use of forum with no set activity rules may result in topic being unpopular, host will notify you by PM every time you must vote or do something.

Host will be
for 95% active from 22:00 to 24:00 GMT+1+DST (CET).
OK, this would be it. During evening I'll send invitations to some potentially interested members. In worst case, I at least will know we shall wait for greater activity.

Sent spam to 10 people. As we need at least 3 more players, there are some chances for a game.
To be honest, I can't see why were these extra accounts even created in first place. Detecting who is writing the message is uber-easy utilising a simple "vocabulary and grammar attack". Even if you would try to hide it, it would go out in most unexpected place ever.
BTW:
You would be playing for the first time without anyone who already played the game. This is quite unusual. So, typical stuff that was not typical at my first game, but I got used to it:
) First day and such - Saying you are a bitch and doing random attack at enemy players. Still it is idiotic to say you bitched blackmailer because then you would be blackmailed. The most bitchy game I played included 7 self claimed bitches and 11 players.
) Later - similar thing with parsons.
) Extremal bending with analysing votings. Anyone who tried to kill must be Indian, people who voted pro-bandit in duel must be bandits etc.
) NO REWIND. Saying stuff in order to make everybody forget something. Once bad gunslinger made everyone believe he is a good gunslinger despite good gunslinger being already dead. Do not try this, it is an example.

Do you have a basic idea of the game? If so, you may easily play it as long as host knows the rules well (==me). Of course, if I would be playing I would understand some stuff faster, but I played this quite a lot of times already.
