You mean do I live near Disneyland? Yeah...its in Orlando (Orlando is a city I am VERY close to). I've gone there a few times (Maybe like Once or Twice).

Do Nightwish/Dreamtheater count as heavy metal?

Nightwish is symphonic metal yes. I also enjoy Nightwish, but i like more their old songs with Tarja Turunen.

Metal bands i like are for example Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Lordi, Children of Bodom etc.

I like mostly thrash metal. Heavy is good tho.

I absolutely LOVE Acid Drinkers, but they are my pals so dunno if that counts. I remember I did a really crap music video parody for one of their songs.

It's probably not as nice as you think it is. Also... you're seriously going to dislike the climate, especially coming from Latvia. It's not tropical, it's muggy and uncomfortable. But then again, I also like to persuade people to, for the love of all that is sane, not move to the US.

I hate local climate, by the way... I like only July here, when it's near +30, humid and stormy. As my relative said, who lived for ~20 years near Miami, there is very humid and hot, so this would be suitable for me. Here is humid all year long too, but I feel horrible when temperature is lower than +20... unfortunately, suitable time for me is only in the middle of summer. :/

Of course, there are their best songs ever. The new ones are not bad but Tarja was the main part of Nightwish's print in symphonic metal and she misses the band a lot.

I haven't listened all the groups but I like Iron Maiden and enjoyed a few songs from Lordi. Children of Bodom is not my cup of tea (dunno why).
What do you think about Slipknot, or Scar Symmetry and Soilwork ?

Nope. There are actually much more places where I'd like to live (even only for few years), but Florida is one of places which I want to visit foremost.

@ saerleiya: I like Slipknot they are really good. I havent heard about Scar Symmetry and Soilwork. Ill check them out later.

@ Rulez: If you ask me, it counts. I have also two friends who have a very good band.
