It reminds me somewhat on the 3rd mask in Rayman 2.

It appears when you obtain a mask, you go with Polukus, the symbol appears in the pilar.

Orignally what colour was Rayman going to be?

Red?

I know there were two characters in the SNES protoype, one red and another blue/violet... but I'm kinda not sure who's Rayman there ^^'

Rayman was the red one, the other one has a different symbol and very different hair. Well done again!

That noise can be heard in Rayman 3, in the rooms that contain portals to the doctors, I think

Very good guess, but nope, I'm afraid. That sound effect has a slightly lower pitch.

It reminds me of the sound the doors make in the Teensie Council areas from Rayman 2.
