Aiaiai, it's bad enough that it was searing during my trips to the south in the past three days, but now the weather has followed me home in the north, and it is unlawfully hot.

Am I the only Brit who hasn't been complaining too much about the current weather here? I see so many other Brits being all ooh "it's SO HOT I'm MELLLLTINGG" but really I remember it being hotter, around 30°C some years ago and I didn't enjoy it back then. It's about 23°C here right now and if you ask me it's high time we had weather this good. Last winter was like one of the longest winters I've ever seen and I couldn't believe it was too cold to not wear a jacket up until JUNE.
Forecast says it's going to be like this for at least the next 5 days and I'll make the most of it - in before Brits complain about the rain afterwards!

I currently live in Arizona and it's been about 38C-43C for the past month. Mm, how I love the desert heat. It's overcast right now and we've been having a lot of dust storms late in the day. My sinuses are acting up as a result eugh

Ah it's going to be all sun and 30 degrees when I get to Cyprus. Not that it's been all that bad here.

Meh, in the north it's usually cooler, and I've grown accustomed to it, hence why it's a little difficult to deal with the higher temperatures.

I don't find 23°C to be hot to be honest. Lately in here we have around 30-32°C and this is really starting to annoy me, I can barely sleep well with that heat. @@'
Temperatures between 23°C-25°C are actually my fav ones, neither too hot or too cold.

I've grown accustomed to temperatures in the high 10's, going over 20 is when things start getting bothersome for me, believe it or not.

I believe you. I live in Norway, where two or more days with 20+ degrees celsius is considered a heat wave.

I also find temperatures in the high 10's/low 20's to be most comfortable.

I'd say my comfortable sitting temperature is somewhere between 8-12 degrees. Summers here usually go into the high 10's/low 20's, and that's quite nice for a bit, but I'll basically melt if it goes any higher. It's been around 30/31 degrees these past few days.

Hmm, it seems your resilience for higher temperatures is even lower than mine, how're winters like in Canada>

It's a cloudy day here. It's actually cool weather than the scorching temperatures we've been having the last few days.

They can vary. The temperature regularly drops to -15 to -20 on a normal Winter day/night, but usually hovers around -5 within the more urban parts of cities (though at the same time, cities are much more humid, so that can reflect roughly as a dry -10). The prairies can get as low as -30 to -40 under the same circumstances.

Blimey, I think -5 is the lowest low we've had where I'm at, I don't think I'd manage a winter in Canada if that's the case.

Given that regular Canadian residence is only situated slightly more North than England, the reason it's much colder is because the UK receives the Gulf Stream, carried up from Florida, heating a sizable portion of Western Europe up. Over here it's rather the opposite, as we receive currents coming from the ice caps and the Pacific, a much lonelier, colder ocean than the Atlantic.

Our winter lasted 'till mid-april, with snow falling even then. I guess the average temperature was around 0, since it also froze a lot.

Ooouuchh my extremities would freeze right off! The coldest I've ever had was -12 and my fingers and toes were not happy!

If you guys complain about temperatures between 25ºC and 30ºC, you should see how I try to hold on temperatures like 43ºC

. A little more, and I would be in the Death Valley.
I feel more confortable with temperatures between 15ºC and 20ºC. I consequently have a sleep of better quality, and I feel more productive during the day.
