Necks? More than one neck? Hmm...
Because of hardware limitations right? It was easier to just have different sprites or it was hard to do moving limbs or whatnot.

The nymphs lost a sack of Lums because they were chased by/chasing away zombie chickens and so Rayman was born without some parts here and there.

A different player gets into first place, and each player has a different theme so sometimes when someone else is in first the music will sometimes change.

In the game you have to defeat Rayman's shoe thats on the loose by ramming into it. But if you hit the walls while boosting, you lose a point in your score counter.
Though if your talking about the gamecube exclusive minigame then in mad trax, one player races with the shoe, while the person with the gba plays a tetris style game, and you two must work together to get to the end of the course. The 4 player version wheelis is the same thing but with two teams, and 2 players must race each other while the two gba players compete in the tetris like minigame.
