My bad, I didn't check the upload dates. It seems that the tree image came from the Rayman Facebook page:

I have a theory that there was going to be a cut world that was replaced by Ticklish temples, since the loading screen is really different compared to Jibberish jungle, the fact that there WERE cut worlds, and the scrapped nymph

I wonder if this would be a ticklish temples level with the huge amount of water on the last part

Does anyone have the background art of the second electoons cage in Best Original Score?

A. I voted for the Xbox 360 version because it was my first ever Rayman game & I really want the collectors edition, but the PC GOG version is a close second.

B. I think Raymesis looks the best either here or in Fiesta Run.

Which aspect do you find complicated? The chase before the battle, or the battle?
In any case - there are many instructional videos on Youtube. We even link to some of them on our Wiki!

How rarely do I write messages on the topics... It's time to fix this!

Rayman Origins it's one of my favorite game in series. And no, not only because of new Betilla design. But... Yeah, she looks better then Classic. Cute and beautiful redhead fairy... That game is good because of good graphics, great level design and gameplay, that became more faster, then in previous games.

But this game also have a lot of problems with plot. Game actually don't have it, but... It exist. In general, the fact that most of the characters do not talk (only Betilla with the nymphs, the Magician, Polokus and the Flame Teensie say something) is also a big minus, because nothing is clear what is happening. On the other hand, this is not worth explaining, but... Damn, the plot of the game itself, as well as the root reasons why Ales suddenly became a villain and so on and so forth... For this there is no clear synopsis and preparation for the plot. And here the plot really looks literally as if Ubisoft literally took the phrase that the plot is like in you know what films. Only this was in relation to shooters and not platformers, but yes...

I suppose it's the kind of plot where the less explained - the better.

The reveal which happens in... The Reveal is a shock to the player - the good guy turned out to be bad and a secret fan of the head bad guy all along. I don't think it really matters "why". Can you really explain such things? Not really. Not any more than Mr Dark's agenda is explained in Rayman 1.

So there are the good guys who want peace and happiness for the Glade, there are the bad guys who want things to be a mess, and there are the Living Dead, who are just annoyed at the ruckus and want to smack everyone on the head.

Sounds clear enough to me, and the player can imagine the details to his/her content.

As dr_st mentioned, the game does have a plot, but not explicitly. It relies on implicit means like character behaviors or phrases from Polokus and some characters. With the player's imagination, they can piece together the story. Regarding the Magician, from the beginning of the game, it shows he is villainous. He set up the microphone, making the undead angry at Rayman. If you hit his hat several times, you can see his behavior becoming more aggressive, asking you to collect lums, and even dreaming about them. Additionally, the game's manual provides a more detailed story, mentioning that Betilla created Rayman with lums, but zombie chickens stole some, resulting in Rayman being born without limbs. You're correct; the game seems to lack a developed story, and indeed, it was supposed to have one, depicting Rayman's origin, but it got canceled, possibly due to time constraints.

Yes, I would have liked to see Mr. Dark in Origins and how they would have interpreted him in the game. Sadly, all of that got canceled, but based on the information available on how Mr. Dark could have been in the game, here's my take on how he would have been in Origins: "In the dark night of the Dream Glade, emerges a Teensie named "Ales Mansay," whose name in Pig Latin reveals his true identity as a "sales man." This mysterious individual markets a wide variety of gadgets, but whispers in the shadows suggest that behind his salesperson facade lurks the malevolent Mr. Dark, transformed into a Teensie. Is this hint true, or just a theory born from nocturnal fantasy?"

It appears to me as though the reason they scrapped most of the plot and dialogue, such as the whole "Ales Mansay" thing, is that they realized how bad it was. It must have been a late decision though, as it was clearly done in a hurry and all the scenes with the Magician remain (albeit with with no dialogue).

I wish they hadn't stopped there and had also removed the scenes in question as well as the last remaining pieces of misleading dialogue. It would have made Rayman Origins a game with basically no plot and great gameplay, and that's what people would have judged it on. Instead, if will be forever remembered for its pig latin and laxative-induced behavior disregard for the lore.

You're right, either they should have removed the entire story or kept the entire story, but a middle ground creates the incoherence present in this case. In my opinion, the idea of Ales Mansay wouldn't have been a bad one if they had handled it well, with dialogue explaining the situation clearly and maintaining the original character designs. However, we'll never know how they would have handled the game's story since, in the end, they canceled it. I would love if a prototype of Rayman Origins with its story were leaked, similar to what happened with Rayman 4: Raving Rabbids, where the prototype had some dialogues that revealed more about its narrative.
