I think if you manged to convert André the game will moving on and in next level André manged to convert himself back..
However, the game crashes every time I try to activate grimace because I running in Linux.

And Locas, it depend on which one you mean.
Final Boss, fight 1: Get the Lockjaw and use it to disable his shield, then use Heavy Metal Fist to drain his life down.
Fight 2: Get the Lockjaw, swing on the hook and grab the Heavy Metal Fist and use it to drain his life away.
Fight 3: Once you have the emerald, fly up to certain platforms and eventually shoot the Shock Rocket into his back.
Fight 4: Shhot the shield away, then bomb all the Hoodlums until Andre is revealed, then Grimace him.
