I would rather have more pages to look that than rather having to wait a page with 5 pages worth of posts and images and tiny images TO LOAD.

No, the forums width doesn't matter, you can set whatever limit of posts per page you want in the admin area no matter what the width is.

Yes and no.. There are ways to access it even if you aren't an admin.
