I think what he means is that it's a community poll. While it's nice that the community did vote for Rayman enough to get him into 4th place, the polls unfortunately don't mean a lot.

The Global Smash Roster site was built by reddit user gullu2002, as Steo said it doesn't mean a lot, but I think it is still fun to participate. Btw, that Heavy character is in another league.

As much as I love TF2, it would feel somewhat odd to have a PC exclusive character instead of someone who's actually been part of Nintendos library. Of the top votes, I'd say Waluigi and Rayman have the highest likelihood, ideally.

Since a lot of Smash theories don't make a lot of sense, I have a habit of saying that Rayman can never be in Smash because he's in Brawlhalla. What's funny about it is that some people think I'm serious and they get annoyed.

I made a sort of vow to my boyfriend, who really loves Smash, and wanted me to play the game.
If Rayman will ever be added as a playable character in the game, I have to buy the game and main Rayman. This thing scares and excite me at the same time.

I love playing Smash and I'm really looking forward to Rayman appearing in the game as a playable character. Is there any news on this?

I read that you can now play as Rayman in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ... like that. The mod, created by Watapascul, placed the Rayman skin on top of the Min Min from ARMS.

Today was the last reveal, unfortunately rayman doesn't appeared, plus this is the last smash game.
so, sadly rayman can't appear in any smash officially.
for me, I not be a smash fan, in fact, I lost the interest for smash some many years, but looking the people wanted so much rayman (including people it's don't rayman fans but wanted rayman for some many reasons), maybe I have little hopes for it. but sadly never happened.
yeah, it's sad that really so much rumors about rayman for some years, were only coincidences or fake leaks.

Wait, that's the end of it? After all these years of "Rayman for Smash", it's all over? Wow... Like yourself, I'm not a Smash fan, but I can appreciate that this is kind of the end of an era, or some such.

So, does the topic title need to change to "Rayman confirmed NEVER to be in Smash Bros."?

To be more specific, Rayman will never be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, however I assume that at some point there will be another Smash Bros. game, so (in theory) there is still hope for some characters to be included in the future.
