American law is way better than the one in Netherlands it seems. How the hell did this guy got so low punishment for taking away 3 lifes with his vehicle and he didn't even apologise. I don't blame the father who threw chair at judge:

The problem with getting executed is also that there's no way to rectify things should it later become clear that you weren't actually the perpetrator. This is another one of my more rational reasons for preferring a life sentence over the death penalty.

I strongly disagree with any form of death penalty. Sure there are people who have done horrible, unspeakable things, but I think everyone deserves a second chance. I believe anyone is capable of change, even if it may take years, even decades to happen. Redemption? No, there's no redemption for some of the things people have done. But a second chance yes.

Reminds me of the Megaupload/Rape meme. You know, the one where MU's creator is put in jail for 50 years while the guy who raped, I don't remember, 3 or 4 women, ends up with only 20 years of imprisonement.
Of course, it wasn't the exact same situation, but it's kinda funny in an awkward way.

For a second I thought you were Dandy but it is clear as day who are you now. Ignore list here as well and hopefully, staff deals with you.

The legal system everywhere is pretty fucked up. You can get in more trouble for a tax dodge than for murdering three people and raping their corpses. Like... why, people, why??

Love, I don't mind the Shrekisms much, but see if you can keep it out of more serious threads like this one.

Sorry, those issues with my dad and the police bothered me a lot so I thought this was the right place. Where can I post about such problems in the future?

My asshole, which has onion peelers built into the sides and also doubles as a police station. No matter what you say, I will make this sacrifice for the sake of your wellbeing, and the wellbeing of all those who've had to experience similar onion-scented hardship.

Don't you just hate it when parents reverse engineer kitchen appliances into their unborn children, forever altering the course of their future?

I was halfway through writing a chapter of a movie when I had to go to dinner. Of course when I load it back up it refuses to view anything except the mouse cursor so I have to completely reset the whole laptop, losing my work. FECK.
