< thinks GIMP and Krita are closer open-source equivalents to Photoshop. But Krita's documentation is rubbish!

Probably are, < hasn't actually used Photoshop. < just doesn't know many graphical editing programs beyond Photoshop and MS Paint

OH < forgot about paint.net being a thing
< uses GIMP still for image editting but Medibang for digital art

<'s used Gimp before but < found it a little too alien at the time and stuck with NET. < might try getting familiar with it some time

< would recomend sticking with NET if you're using it more for art as < was never fond of using GIMP for art (hence why medibang for it)

Alright, as far as < knows Gimp is more honed to photography which isn't my kind of thing
