But you can't save things, right? Or you can't load saved things. Either of those.

I used MPTracker before Cubase. It's cute and retro, but if you get the right samples in it, it could be quite powerful.

Yay, more of the Critic! :) I figured it wouldn't take long. Demo Reel didn't even achieve half the popularity.

a little while ago i thought it would be a good time to restart every Rayman game and track every record . I already completed 4 games in record time - including Rayman Jungle run in 1:30:54.

OK, everybody, I have a problem!

Polish customs office grabbed "my" parcel with Sonic soundtracks and now wants to apply VAT to it. However, despite the price being written on it (knowing the seller, probably in Comic Sans, but customs people even copied it onto notification, so they can read it), they want me to supply them with my personal data and the billing information, translated into Polish.

The thing is, do you think they will care if I translate it myself? Or shall I find a professional English translator? Or even worse, one with license to translate court proceedings (these are the most expensive type I heard about)? If anybody else has any experiences with EU customs offices, please share it.

I would normally suggest using a professional translator to you, but your English has improved so much that it no longer seems necessary!

Jokes aside, I don't think there's any need to hire an external translator. Perhaps it's a different kettle of fish but in this country even the most illegible and unstructured information eventually reaches its destination. I would be more concerned about the personal/financial information being asked of me.

That reminds me of that one package that was riddled with strange code and cryptic messages. In the end, it turned out the postal office's printer didn't recognise Russian letters and printed weird ASCII code-like messages on the package. Some experienced IT guy - I think - managed to recognise and rewrite the mess in the right letters, after which he sent it on its way to be delivered to the right person!

Yes, there is that picture on Wikipedia. However, I heard that the person who made it out wasn't necessarily an IT expert, but worked it out using some, huh, assignments. Postal code was unobstructed, so they could guess the city, so they got some letters and so on.

I strangely enough found myself ending up on some site talking about peculiar things from history and such. It contained the "Lion & Bear" episode from the Teletubbies. I see I was not the only child who was scared shitless from that. :P
