I still remember struggling with Moody Clouds speed trophies at one point until I got the hang of things. Same with once thinking the Land of the Livid Dead was "impossible" on the first couple tries.

Well, impossible it ain't, but still quite tricky with the timing. I suppose if you play it enough it becomes easy, but I usually don't care to practice after beating it. I must have beaten it in full only 3-4 times, ever.

Yes and no; in Rayman Origins, he blows his bubbles from a wooden pipe, while in Rayman Legends, he uses a bubble-blowing hookah.

Okay, so... Rayman Origins.

One of my favourite games of the series. I sure do remember how I was puffing up my tail over screwing up in Moody Clouds (basically exploding), I do remember how I liked (and still like) playing as Raybox in this game specifically. Sure, there is Legends that has the skin but man, Rayman Origins style is more familiar/relative to me. PLUS this game is the second game I played out of all games from the series. I like the game's looks, music, quirks, cutscenes, level designs even! The plot though... kinda sad to know the plot was just scrapped, but I do understand why this happened...
STILL there is so much fan content made in the game (i.e. mods, videos, fun facts, etc.). I haven't seen anyone doing the fan series recorded in Rayman games specifically so I think I might be one of the first to do such a thing. These are just my guesses, soooo...
*(sigh)* I don't regret playing Rayman Origins, there's so much creativity to be made there. And the customizable multiplayer option! Ohhh my GOD what would I do without it!
Well that's kinda all I wanna tell here?.. uhhh yea-

Yeah, they had to rush the development of the game, and the plot was scrapped at a very late stage. I'm happy about this, because I didn't really like that plot to begin with. Well, maybe it's not that bad if you understand it as the Dark Teensy being an impersonator and not the good old Magician from Rayman 1, but I'm still not a huge fan of it.

What I'm not happy about, however, is how they scrapped it, that is, by leaving lots of unexplained elements behind and creating so much confusion for anyone trying to make sense of this mess...

Yeah... welp, at least I can make the story myself - with the help of multiplayer on my laptop.

Hey guys! I don't know how many of you guys know about this, but the Daily Bubble articles featured music that was either early versions of tracks or fully unused tracks. Before the Wayback Machine links stopped working, I happened to collect all (or at least most) of the unused/early music featured there! Most of them had sound effects, since they were usually attached to gameplay footage, but for the most part, that didn't deter me from getting them anyhow. :)

I never quite knew what to do with them, but since I don't see them getting added to RayTunes or YouTube anytime soon, here are five of the ones that I found (since I can only attach five files at a time) for your listening pleasure. I named three of the ones featured here (Lums for Dumb and Red Wizard Clan came from a video that had three of these unused songs) and all of the rest. Let me know if you guys want to hear any more!
Lums for Dumb (unused song).mp3
(2.5 MiB) Downloaded 10 times
Red Wizard Clan (unused song).mp3
(374.38 KiB) Downloaded 9 times
(I might be wrong here, but I think this might have been used in Rayman Adventures' Wild, Wild East levels) (This might be an early version of The Tricky Treasure, but I always saw it as a reprise to the song)
The Snoring Beat (Snoring Tree).mp3
(87.22 KiB) Downloaded 7 times
(This one has some differences in comparison to the one used in the final game's cutscenes)

God, it's ALWAYS shocking realizing just how hard this game was reworked with only like a year to release

Awesome find btw but wow, what could've been, esp story-wise

So apparently, some people I know made a bet that involves the PS3 version of Origins, of which one of them purchased a copy for me specifically for the bet. If I understand correctly, if I manage to 100% the game (including all achievements) by the end of next year, my boyfriend wins the bet, and if I don't, our mutual friend wins it. The thing is that I 100%'d the PC version before, but that was over 5 years ago, and it doesn't have the achievements. Y'all are free to pick a side if you want now too, I guess... :P

Do you think you could upload them all somewhere? I have archived all Daily Bubble issues here but I think I'm missing most sound files. It would be nice to have them feature the original music.

Of course, though I'm not sure where exactly to do it. I could just upload them all through these posts, but that might get tedious.

On another note, I found a Wayback Machine link that has the old UbiArt blog and all of the Daily Bubble issues archived and working. Now all the music and videos are intact! :mryellow:

Edit: Almost forgot, here's five more unused/early tunes for your listening pleasure!
Riding the Storm (unused_early variant).mp3
(254.58 KiB) Downloaded 8 times
(They actually used this one during an E3 showcase for the game)
Silly Sonata (unused song, with sound effects).mp3
(295.74 KiB) Downloaded 10 times
A Fool's Quest (unused song).mp3
(568.73 KiB) Downloaded 5 times

That's nice, I thought most of the music was missing last time I checked. I guess I'll have to go through each issue again now. :confus:

Way ahead of you Hunch, I did just that this morning to try and get any music I missed the first time around. :oops2:

Speaking of which, how's about a few more tracks?
Frozen Paradise (unused_early variant).mp3
(162.22 KiB) Downloaded 7 times
Frozen Paradise (unused_early variant 3).mp3
(194.66 KiB) Downloaded 7 times
(The Daily Bubble sure had a lot of Frozen Paradise variants, huh? :oops2:)

(218.01 KiB) Downloaded 6 times

Neat! Well, if you can bundle them all together with the original file names into an archive and upload it somewhere, I should be able to add the music to our own archive ASAP. :D
