An ATM or self-check out? < thinks if it's an ATM, ^ might want to check ^'s finances, <'s heard of folks putting contraptions on ATMs to purposely catch cards, then take them thereafter.
Ah yes < has heard of people doing that a while back, < believes you mostly need to just catch if the card insert thing looks different
< rang the Natwest helpline (thankfully they were still open at 2am) and managed to cancel <'s card and they issued me a new card + pin. The adviser also mentioned the contraption.< had honestly never heard of that before, so it was lucky < rang immediately after the devouring took place

< is really beginning to dislike the whole form over function train of thought. The train app < uses was recently redesigned, and while it looks nicer, usability seems to have diminished. It's much more cumbersome than it used to be.

< feels the same way about being unable to see who the latest poster in a forum is when browsing PC in portrait on <'s phone. :mefiant:

< was watching the Chase earlier and saw someone get eliminated because she incorrectly answered the question "In what decade was Germany split into East and West parts? 1920s, 1930s or 1940s?" :boon:

< was planning to use the Rayman 1 Background cover in <'s sig
< is about to play Rayman 2 running through Mupen64 with the music muted while < has music playing in a separate window on the computer.
Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava is one of <'s hated levels in the game so < may want to prepare for the worst.

<'s been trying again with Xamarin, <'s hoping < might be able to use <'s phone for <'s uni project, just for the sake of pizzazz more than anything else. <'s also trying to give the UWP a shot, again mostly just for the sake of wowing <'s assessors.

'Course, if that doesn't work out, there's the old WinForms that <'s accustomed to. But <'s been wanting to move to more modern frameworks for a while now.

< Thought it was a cool thing to add.

<'s having trouble solving a devious physics question about maximising the range of a projectile up a slope. < has to find the derivative of along quadratic with fractions of sines and cosines and this and that. < needs a break...

Ah yes. < is sometimes amazed by how quickly such calculus can get really nasty.
Of course when you get to <'s age everything's done with asymptotic approximations so you're neglecting all the high-order terms that make that sort of thing happen!
