Re: The You Game!
< is out bowling with some mates
Re: The You Game!
<'s calculator is dead again.
There was a water shortage but it is starting to come back again right now.
< can finally have a shower.
Today, < "bathed" by simply rubbing <'s wet bath cloth over <'s body.

< wishes ^ a speedy and hopefully not too bumpy recovery.
< has been lazy with an assignment, and < is dreading the onslaught of February.

Re: The You Game!
< got some glasses from the optician's today, as apparently < has astigmatism. <'s never really noticed before but small details and writing are sort of hard to read if they're a metre or so away. <'s lucky though, considering all of <'s immediate family had eye problems develop from a younger age than <.
< got an ice cream on the way back despite it pouring it down, < thinks ice cream in the rain is a surprisingly pleasant combination
< also had a mock today which went alright, a few questions stumped < and < didn't have tome to finish the multiple choice questions so < had to fill half of them in by random (aided by the randint function on <'s calculator). < thinks it's pretty unfair how some of the questions could easily be worth 4 or 5 marks but always only count as 1 mark because with multiple choice questions they don't mark working out. < suspects the examiners are just being lazy

Re: The You Game!
< finds that randint story amusing! < remembers the guys who organize the Irish Chemistry Olympiad saying it's a multiple-choice, or rather, "multiple-guess" exam. They keep meaning to change it to something more rigorous, but, who has time for that…
