Their misspelling of Ancel's name is cringe-inducing, but anyway, there's interesting information in here. Look what they said about the development of the different versions of R2. What Ancel said about four-player split-screen vehicular racing elements being included in R3 came true in the Gamecube version. Games journalists were shown very early R4 concepts in late September, 1998, which is very important. Ancel once planned to make one Rayman platformer a year... and R4 was initially planned to be released in 2001.

I'd like to make the point right here and now that you might find the multiplayer elements being very true to Rayman Arena & M. Before Rayman Arena came out, there was actually the common assumption that it would be titled "Rayman 3." This article's been brought up at least a bazillion times on RaymanZone with people saying, "OMG RAYMAN 4 IS COMING OUT!" (before Rabbids even came known), but we've always had to make the point that "Rayman 3" became Rayman M & Arena while "Rayman 4" actually turned out to be "Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc."

Still recording, Eraser Plains is giving be shit as usual. Here's the playlist, more vids may appear within the week. I can only do my work in the late afternoons though because even at 2-3 hours my library job takes up quite a bit of my time what with the buses, doing me a decent breakfast and shit.

Afraid not. What I tried once before was use VMWare to run Win95 and install the game on that but the framerate was fucked. Mighty fucked.

Well, you can configure DOSBox. I have a config file I made myself in fact.

There are third-party GUIs available.

There's actually a few to choose from, but none by the actual authors. My favorite is Dfend though, it seems like the easiest to use.
