It's fun, I killed two in one shot.
In fact, once I killed two Hoodmonger Privates in one shot. I fully charged the lock jaw and fired a curved shot at one, but another one jumped in the way and it killed both.

Oh killing Hoodlums with the Lockjaw is so much fun. It's possible to kill of an Elite Monger (requires six shots!) in under a second by electrocuting it.
