Hmm, in honesty, I've never really paid attention to that rule.

That being said, Rayfist is leading with 6/6 votes. Considering RPC activity is presently at a minimum, I think I'll keep the polls open for now to allow any members who can't vote presently a chance to vote. Should it be clear that such an opportunity won't bear fruit, I'll close the polls then and there. In the meantime, I'm beginning to wonder if I should introduce a break period between seasons to keep things running, let me know what you folks think.

I think the 'five votes ahead rule' shouldn't immediately come into effect the very same day the polls open. That would reward rush-spamming votes into one entry and then automatically giving one of the contestants the prize without much contest. That'd just be unfair.
