I like guys like that. It's a pain to ban them, but they do get boring after a while.

Worse are topic flooders, especially when your admin lets them do so and bans them two weeks after you put them on the 'ban list'...

I wish moderators on RZ had the power to ban (or at least temporarily).

When (if) RZ comes back, I will ask Ubirazz to get a new scheme for the ban list, here would be an example:

Name: superjake
Reason for ban: topic flooding, pure spam topics
Ban duration: forever (permanent)

No, but seriously, how's that for an idea?

I'm not sure if there is a MOD(ification, of course) that will allow that. But the banning scheme currently for phpBB is just several boxes saying 'ban', or 'unban'.

Their is a MOD you install on phpBB that allows you to have supper mods or Jr admins that can ban. Like hunchman here, he has TK a supper mod and he can Ban people.

Hmm, even those boxes weren't there in RZ. Ubirazz made a topic in which we had to post the members to be banned.

I thought about it, and temporary bans could be useful as hell. For perhaps vets who lose control sometimes (I'm not naming anybody lol) and need a punishment, without having them restricted to the forums forever.

Here, Super Moderators can ban, and moderators can ask for a ban
